Have you done this?

I finally went to make some freezer jam with the strawberries and messed up the first batch. Well, messed up meaning it is not a gel like it suppose to be but still very good and edible just a bit on the runny side, OK, a lot on the runny side. Meaning makes good sauce to put on ice cream. Yum!! The next batch was right on! I didn't realize there were directions until I started on the 2nd batch. Silly me. The Sure-Jell was boiled with water like it suppose to be on batch number 2. I love freezer jam, don't you? Did you notice that they have Sure-Jell for less or no sugar? Might have to try that next year.
