(This is my 200th post!! Yay, me!)
Wow! We felt the earthquake that was centered in Illinois. Our house shook similar to what I remember growing up next to the railroad tracks when the trains go by. It also reminds me of a couple times when I was living in Washington state. One of the times I was in NCW (North Central Washington) visiting someone in Cashmere and we thought a train was going by then but later found out it was an earthquake and a Mariners game was being played at the Kingdome at the time (Ken Griffey Jr. was still there) anyway they felt it at the Kingdome. Then in 1998-1999 when I was living in Seattle I was home by myself when the whole house shook and I thought it was our furnace about to blow because we were low on oil. I went out to check the oil level. My roommates never let me live that one down. They would be like "did you feel that, better check the oil".

Cool! I've never felt an earthquake before. I'm glad it wasn't to close to do damage to your home.
Wow, I bet it was weird to experience tremors from an earthquake. I enjoyed my visit here.
Hi Cheryl,an earthquake must be scary. One of the ladies(can't remember whose blog it was) thought they had a ghost until she got up the next morning and watched the news. She was relieved to know there wasn't a ghost among them.Congrats on your 200th post.
I love your finds from the auction.
Blessings,Shelley
