The Royal Scroll

This is one of the things I got at the auction last Saturday. The copyright is 1896.

A great find indeed.

My husband and I are going to the auction tonight. It's mostly a junk auction,but it's good fun and sometimes I find some good buys.

Thats just the strangest thing. It looks like a Bible? With pictures on a scroll? Or is it a book on the life of Jesus? Hard to tell for me but regardless I bet like she said it is priceless. Very cool indeed and that is something to be cherished. I bet there are some good teachings in there!

Hi Cheryl:

I'm interested in your scroll because I have one, too, and have been trying to find out more about it. My understanding at this point is that it was mainly used for religious education and is probably not terribly valuable but is a curiosity. I notice that eBay has 2 of them for sale right now with starting bids at $50. Do you mind if I ask how that compares to what you paid for it?
