Have You ever had....

Pumpkin Pie ice cream? I picked some up (couldn't pass up $1.88 for 1.75 qts.) at the store last night because I heard it is good. My boys and I had some and if you like pumpkin pie you will love this!! Luke said it was now his favorite ice cream. It actually has crust in it which added to the taste, and I could have handled a bit more of the crust. So it was close to being pumpkin pie ala mode. Ya'll have got to try it! If you do get the chance to try it let me know what you think.

Oh! Oh ! Oh! I bought an electric ice cream maker to make pumpkin ice cream a couple years ago and it was awesome! I had gotten a recipe from some HGTV star - Emerill or Paula Dean or someone, anyway made it, we loved it, haven't made it again! My family only wants my grandmothers homemade banana ice cream instead. But with bits of crust in it? That sounds even better! And what a price! Enjoy lots more :)

I was thinking a person could take that ice cream and make an ice cream pie with real crust...mmmmm.
